Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is a three-year under-graduate course modeled to offer the student with a number of management skills and at the same time also building in them proficiently in a specific area. The Bachelor of Commerce is a career-oriented degree which provides a foundation in all aspects of commerce. Studying General Commerce prepares graduates for a wide range of careers in the business world. B.Com at Amity is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in a particular area.

The program at Amity prepares the individual for the modern financial and accounting field. Some of the career options include business management, business development, accounting, marketing and advertising, banking, management consulting, economic analysis, financial planning, foreign affairs, fund management, international business and trade analysis, government administration, policy formulation, portfolio management in the private and public sectors.

 

After the completion of the B.Com course, an individual can pursue a career in the following fields:

Student, who wants to pursue their further studies after the completion of B.Com, can opt for following courses:

  • Masters in Commerce (M.Com)
  • MBA (Master of Business Administration)
  • Chartered Financial Analyst
  • Master of Chartered Accountants
  • Securities law
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Eligibility : 10+2in Commerce/Science with at least 60% marks.

Procedure : Online off campus counseling conducted by Department of Higher Education Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.

(i)

up to 22 years for UG (No age limit for women)

(ii)

Relaxation of 3 years for SC/ST/OBC/handicapped

(iii)

Below poverty line: 30 years for UG

  • No working candidates can register as regular students.
  • Students not allowed to pursue C.A. along with a UG course
  • Any candidate, who registered for a course earlier and failed / did not appear for the exam / dropped out, cannot apply for admission into the same course again.
  • Any applicant who gives wrong information or conceals information will be dismissed by the Principal.
  • Supplementary candidates may be given provisional admission if they fulfill other criteria, including merit. They must get their admissions confirmed within 15 days after declaration of results.
  • No candidate must have any pending criminal court case.
